Laboratory Construction Planning
Laboratory Construction – an indication of the comprehensive plan
The in-depth plan includes the following work stages:
- Licensing and Approval
- Perfection of Drawings and Documents
- Contract Drafting and Tendering
- Evaluation of Tenders and Final Cost
LCGC LABS believes in working systematically for proper work execution and timely delivery. We like to share our work phases with our clients so they are on the same page as us. Transparency at work helps in a healthy and professional relationship with our clients.
We set down thorough plans and divide our work in different phases and set our time bounds so the work delivered is on time and of the finest quality. Here is how we divide our work phase.
-
Licensing is a significant part of the work phase. All documents and outline of the building work to be executed are filed along with an application in order to get the permit for construction of the laboratory. LCGC LABS can proceed with the construction work of your laboratory after the licence to construct is obtained from the necessary authorities.
-
Construction is done on the basis of drawings and after obtaining our license we perfect our drawings. All the necessary documents and the drawings for construction are perfected and stored together so they can be used at the time of construction.
The drawings that have been finalized for constructions are scaled at a ratio of 1:50. The details of the other drawings are scaled in a ratio from 1:1 to 1:20.
These plans and drawings of the laboratory building are made sector wise. The plans also consist of details like fire protection, wiring, air conditioning, plumbing work, water supply etc. -
The next work phase after finalizing the drawings and other details for the construction we call for tenders. The specifications of the contract for the laboratory are laid down and tenders are invited. We ensure to mention every minute detail in the contract in order to avoid any future dispute.
-
Once the specification of contracts is over and the tenders have been received. We evaluate each tender carefully to determine the cost that would be incurred in building the desired laboratory. LCGC LABS finalizes the cost and since we plan and execute our work cautiously and systematically our estimate given to our clients is quite accurate. However, expect the rate of accuracy to be ±10%.
